The Department has ownership of one building, Áras Mhic Dhiarmada (AMD), Store Street, Dublin 1. With regard to AMD, maintenance costs, including general maintenance, electricity, gas, water rates, etc. amounted to €471,558 for the year ended 31/12/2009.

In relation to the Citizens Information Board (CIB), which is the only agency of the Department to which property ownership applies, the total expenditure in 2009 on building and land maintenance, including light and heat expenditure, for all property owned by the CIB was €47,615.
