I propose to take Questions Nos. 429 and 430 together.

The information requested by the Deputy is not available. PRSI receipts are collected by the Revenue Commissioners on foot of employer forms P35, which include both employer and employee contribution details. The records as provided by the Revenue Commissioners do not allow a break down of PRSI receipts by county.

The overall levels of employee and employer PRSI receipts for the past five years as recorded in the SIF annual Statutory Accounts are set out in the following table. These show that employee and employer receipts increased each year up to 2008 but fell by 4.55% and 11% respectively in 2009.

Expenditure on jobseeker's benefit amounted to €2.005 billion in 2009. Expenditure on jobseeker's allowance for the same period amounted to €1.734 billion. Data on the county breakdown of the Live Register is published by the Central Statistics Office on a monthly basis. I have provided a tabular statement showing the county breakdown at the end of December 2009. It should be noted that this county breakdown also includes 19,209 credits only cases where no payment was received by the person. It is not possible to give a breakdown of expenditure on a county basis. Table: Number on the Live Register by County, 2009
