Question 197: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the plans or proposals her Department or the Health Service Executive has in relation to the provision of respite and long-term care for patients in the Kildare-west Wicklow area of the HSE; if such plans or proposals are examining the closure of any facility (details supplied) within the HSE area or if the reduction of the number of beds in such facilities is being reviewed; if the closure or reduction of facilities is being planned or proposed, the alternatives that are being put in place; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
