Question 369: To ask the Minister for Social Protection the amount that has been awarded in bonuses to staff in each of the semi-State or similar bodies within his remit in each of the past three years; if he will provide a breakdown of these bonuses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Of the bodies and Office under my remit, schemes of performance-related pay applied to the Chief Executive Officers of the Citizens Information Board and the Pensions Board, prior to the suspension of those schemes from 1 May 2009. These post holders were eligible to be considered for a performance related bonus payment of up to a maximum of 20% of basic salary. Decisions regarding the level of payments awarded in individual cases were the responsibility of the Boards of these bodies.
