Question 107: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if her attention has been drawn to the fact that home care providers who are contracted and paid by the Health Service Executive are charging elderly patients an extra hourly fee on top of the money they receive from the HSE; the amount of money a home care provider (details supplied) received in 2009 from the HSE to provide care; the number of patients this home care provider was contracted to care for in 2009; the number of hours of care that this provider was contracted to provide in 2009; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
