Question 288: To ask the Minister for Transport the number and name of value for money reviews carried out by his Department annually for the past four years; when each review commenced and was subsequently published; the number and name of value for money reviews to be carried out in 2010; if they have commenced and when they are planned to be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The review of Regional Airport Expenditure begun in 2009 is nearing completion and it is anticipated it will be finalised and published shortly. The review of Rural Transport Programme will commence within the next fortnight.

The value for money review of maritime safety expenditure will be undertaken in 2011.
