Question 339: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he has appointed, as proposed in the budget 2010, a bord snip for local government; if so, the members of same; the deadline he has set for the group to report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Local Government Efficiency Review Group has been established and I have asked that it complete its work by mid 2010. The Group's findings and recommendations will then be considered in the appropriate policy and financial contexts.
