Question 293: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the number of medical card holders in each of the regions throughout the country in each of the past five years to date; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [20730/10]

I set out below a table showing the end of year national figure for medical card holders for each of the past five years. The table also shows the position for the 31st March 2010, which is the most recent figure received by my Department from the Health Service Executive.
