Question 218: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food his salary cost; the number and grades of staff in his Department on a comparable or higher salary; the amounts in each case; the remuneration package of officer holders in all forms of State agencies under the aegis of his Department which are comparable or higher than his salary, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My combined TD and Ministerial salary is €191, 417. The salary of the Secretary General of my Department is €215,590.
The salary of the CEO of Coillte is €297,024. He has a provision in his contract enabling him to participate in a performance related award scheme, though payments under the scheme have been suspended. There is also provision for a car and pension arrangements.
