Under section 7(3) of the Civil Legal Aid Act, 1995, I am precluded from exercising any power or control in relation to any particular case with which the Legal Aid Board is or may be concerned. I understand that a detailed description of the means-testing regime is set out in the Legal Aid Board's leaflet on Financial Eligibility (Leaflet Number 13), which can be accessed through the Board's website, www.legalaidboard.ie, and can also be issued by the Board to potential applicants on request.
