Question 136: To ask the Minister for Justice and Law Reform the number of children under the age of 12 who have been taken to their parents or guardians by the Gardaí under Section 53 of the Children's Act 2001 each year since its enactment; the number of children who have been taken into the custody of the Health Service Executive under the same provision each year since its enactment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
