The Quarterly National Household Survey (QNHS) is the official source of estimates relating to the labour force. It provides estimates at State and regional levels but does not provide data for counties or smaller areas.
Table 1 give details of the estimated number of persons employed in the Agriculture, forestry and fishing sector from 2000 to 2009, in the Border region. For comparison purposes figures for the other seven NUTS 3 Regions are also presented in the table.
Table 2 gives details from the Census of Population for the years 2002 and 2006 on the number of persons in County Donegal, aged 15 years and over, at work, in the Agriculture, forestry and fishing sector.
