The project to which the Deputy refers is currently at an early stage of architectural planning.

The project was approved to progress to stage 2(a) in May 2009. A stage 2(a) submission was received from the school's Design Team in March 2010 and is currently being reviewed by my Department.

In light of current competing demands on the capital budget of the Department, it is not possible to give an indicative timeframe for the delivery of the project at this time.

The school has made an application to my Department for temporary accommodation to assist in accommodating increasing enrolments and this application is currently being assessed. The outcome of this assessment process will be communicated to the school authority in due course.

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the school referred to by her recently received approval for a grant to carry out building and renovation works, proposed by the school, to cater for their enrolments for September 2010.
