Question 751: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government his plans to amend the non-principal private residencies tax to take into account personal circumstances of elderly people and unemployed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15548/10]

The Local Government (Charges) Act 2009 sets the non-principal private residence charge at €200, which is a relatively modest level. I have no plans at present to amend the Act.
