The Deputy may be aware that Irish Rail has made a proposal with regard to the development of a railway station at Crusheen, Co Clare, on the Western Rail Corridor.

My Department has already supported the development of the Western Rail Corridor as part of Transport 21. A decision in relation to the latest proposal regarding Crusheen will be made in due course, subject to resources.
