Question 608: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs if his policy on neutrality has changed following the recent U.S. President's statement on the use of Shannon Airport by U.S. Forces. [14850/10]

The arrangements regarding the use of Shannon by the US military are long-standing and have been in place for many years. President Obama's welcome acknowledgement of the assistance of Ireland in this regard does not in any way reflect a shift in policy and has no implications whatsoever for Ireland's traditional policy of military neutrality.
