I am advised by the Director General of the Irish Prison Service that the annual statistics for 2009 are currently being finalised for inclusion in the 2009 Annual Report of the Irish Prison Service. I expect to receive the 2009 Annual Report in the coming weeks whereupon the information requested by the Deputy will be provided.
