Question 231: To ask the Minister for Transport the opening date of the western rail corridor; his views on whether the seasonal flooding at Ballycar and Newmarket-on-Fergus in County Clare will adversely affect the performance of the route; the level of funding provided by his Department to Irish Rail to operate the service in 2010, 2011 and 2012; and the level of passenger traffic that will be achieved on the route in 2010 to 2012.
