Question 164: To ask the Minister for Finance the number of businesses across all sectors that have advised the Revenue Commissioners that they have ceased trading in each month of 2009 and in January 2010; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8667/10]

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the following numbers of individuals and companies have ceased trading during the period requested by the Deputy:
