Question 259: To ask the Minister for Transport the reason charges are imposed on the users of a rural transport scheme (details supplied) in County Donegal without consultation and whose users are disabled and attend a centre run by the Health Service Executive; if this decision will be reconsidered; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This transport service is not provided under the Department's Rural Transport Programme. I understand that the service is operated by Seirbhís Iompair Tuaithe Teoranta (SITT) under a contract with the Health Service Executive (HSE), to whom the question of charges for the service should be addressed.
