Question 276: To ask the Minister for Defence if he will increase the pension rank of former members of a unit to take into account a 2007 claim for payment which was awarded and backdated for five years; the amount such a pension increase would cost annually; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the claim processed under the C&A scheme in 2007 referred to payments for substitution. These payments are not pensionable in the case of the former personnel in question.
