Question 198: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will make a statement on the position of files and records held by Government Departments in respect of women and young girls who were routinely committed by order of the courts and other mechanisms to institutions and homes run by religious orders (details supplied); if these files will be released; and the steps he proposes to take in respect of this matter and the proposals made by an organisation.
