Question 362: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the reason for the delay in payment of installation aid to a person (details supplied) in Cork South West in view of the statement that such payments are made within seven months of application and this application was lodged in October 2008; and if he will make arrangement for immediate payment. The person concerned is an applicant under the Young Farmers' Installation Scheme. Under the terms of the Scheme, payment of the grant concerned is made once it has been established that the requirements of the Scheme have been met, including the conditions in relation to property, education and income. The outcome of my Department's examination of the application will be made known to the applicant shortly.
