Question 254: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the extent to which Tallaght, Blanchardstown and Naas Hospitals are fully developed in accordance with their respective original development plans; if the full spectrum has been delivered in all cases; if full requirement in terms of theatres, x-ray and pathology services have been provided and are fully functioning; if the full compliment of medical, surgical, nursing or other specific staff are available and continue to be available in each case; the aspects of the anticipated facilities or those originally provided that have downsized, been postponed or shelved and the reason therefore; if the requisite funding will continue to be made available to ensure the continuity of the full range and scale of services; if she will give an assurance that the health service reviews undertaken by her Department over the past ten years will not in any way negatively affect the hospitals in question and the scale and quality of services to the population in their respective catchment areas; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
