Question 441: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government his views on to the recent announcement by the British Government to name ten sites for nuclear power plants in the UK including seven sites on the west coast of England; the prior discussions he has had with his UK counterparts on the issue; if he intends to object to the proposed plans; if he will discuss the issue of waste generated from the proposed sites; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
