I refer to the reply to Question No. 943 of 3 November. My Department has been in contact with the County Council in relation to this matter and is currently awaiting a response from the Council. Nonetheless, it is a matter for the planning authority to take such actions as it feels are warranted to provide for proper enforcement of planning control within their area.
