Question 145: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the moneys that remain unpaid under the general medical scheme to general practitioners in each of the years since the establishment of the Health Service Executive; the unpaid number of GPs involved in each year; the steps that are being taken to ensure that all moneys due are awarded; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The information sought by the Deputy is not provided by the Health Service Executive to my Department as a matter of routine. Therefore, my Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to address this matter and to have a reply issued directly to the Deputy.
