The redundancy date of the person in question predates the entry into force of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) on 1st January 2007 by several years. Accordingly, and subject to the requirements of the EU Regulation governing the Fund that person is not eligible to receive supports which may be co-funded by the EGF in due course. However, the individual would be free to access the full range of FAS employment and training services supports.
