Question 243: To ask the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works will consider developing a building (details supplied) as a tourist attraction; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that workhouses form an integral part of our history and would be an important tourist attraction, particularly for those with Irish ancestry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Commissioners of Public Works have no plans to acquire it at the present time.
