Question 99: To ask the Minister for Finance the reason adequate signage has not been provided by the Office of Public Works for a hall (details supplied) having been previously requested; the further reason the OPW have to date refused to meet the members of the local authority to discuss the opportunities of using this facility; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Directional road signs have been provided by the Office of Public Works for erection by the Local Authority. My officials have been in correspondence with the Local Authority on the matter of usage of the Desmond Banqueting Hall, and have indicated their willingness to meet with the Local Authority at a mutually agreeable time and date.
