Question 61: To ask the Minister for Transport his views on the recent €1 increase in airport charges from €7.39 per person to €8.35 beginning in January 2010 that was sanctioned by the Commission on Aviation Regulation; if he expects airport charges to rise further when terminal two is opened at Dublin Airport; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have no role in determining the per passenger charges at Dublin airport. The Commission for Aviation Regulation is the independent regulatory body responsible for setting maximum passenger charges at Dublin Airport.
