Question 504: To ask the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of study visa applications received in 2008 and 2007 in the visa office in Dublin and the hub visa offices worldwide which were found to be incomplete and therefore not considered for approval or refusal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Incomplete applications (for example an application submitted without a passport) are as far as possible, returned to the applicant by the receiving office and not processed. However, statistics are not maintained in relation to rejected applications.
