I refer the Deputy to my reply to Questions Nos 299 to 302, inclusive, which were taken together on 12 May 2009. The current status of the proposed transfer of functions from MFG Teo to Údarás na Gaeltachta is that preparations for the transfer of the Rural Social Scheme to Údarás with effect from 26 July 2009 are currently well advanced, while proposals regarding both the Local Development and Social Inclusion Programme and the Rural Development Programme are currently under consideration in consultation with both organisations and the Office of the Attorney General.
