Question 142: To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will clarify the situation concerning complaints from the printing industry regarding the level of Government agency work, on behalf of the Office of Public Works, being awarded to companies outside the State; if same can be quantified in value terms; the efforts that have been made to retain the work in Ireland; and if she will make a statement on the matter (details supplied). The Office of Public Works (OPW) does not come under the remit of my Department and it would not be appropriate for me to respond to the Parliamentary Question on behalf of the OPW. I note that the Deputy has put down an identical question to the Minister for Finance who would be the appropriate Minister to respond on behalf of the OPW.
