Question 213: To ask the Minister for Education and Science when he will make a decision regarding the application of schools (details supplied) in Dublin 10 to appoint one teacher to serve mild general learning disability classes at the schools; when the decision will be conveyed to the schools involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department has permitted the retention of a mild general learning disability (MGLD) class in the schools in question for the 2009/2010 school year subject to the schools' acceptance of the administrative arrangements.
