Question 492: To ask the Minister for Education and Science the recognition status of a school (details supplied) in County Clare; if he will recognise that this is the only multi-denominational school in north Clare and thus is essential for catering to those of minority faiths and none in the area; if his Department recently conducted an inspection of the school; the conclusions reached by the inspector; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The inspection of the school referred to by the Deputy is not yet completed. My Department will be extending the provisional recognition of the school for a further school year and a detailed letter has issued to the school authorities in this regard.
