I refer to the answer to Question Numbers 148 and 149 of 6 May 2009. The application under the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund in preparation in relation to the redundancies at the Dell plant in Raheen, Co. Limerick and related enterprises is close to finalization. Officials from the European Commission will visit Dublin later this week to discuss technical issues with officials from my Department. It is my intention to submit the application to the European Commission next week.
