Question 197: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the number of crutches or pairs of crutches purchased by the Health Service Executive in the years 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008; the cost to the HSE for such crutches over the four year period; the number of crutches returned or accepted by the HSE during that same period; the policy of the HSE in respect of re-using or re-cycling crutches; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
