Question 227: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if, in view of the fact that persons (details supplied) expressed strong suicidal ideation in the days before their deaths to the funeral undertakers, and the undertakers recognised the seriousness of this by contacting the gardaí, whether the gardaí or Health Service Executive considered an examination of their suicidal intentions; and if consideration was given to ensure that the necessary psychiatric intervention was provided to deal with the crisis that the suicidal victims were experiencing.
