Question 62: To ask the Minister for Health and Children if the Health Service Executive will consider the lease or purchase of a nursing home (details supplied) in County Kilkenny for the provision of long stay public beds in respect of the care of the elderly in view of the demand in the county and neighbouring counties; if the facility which is available as a turn key project will be examined to determine the use the HSE might have for such a state of the art centre of care; if she will investigate the proposals; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
