Question 416: To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if the penalty imposed on a person (details supplied) in County Mayo by his Department is the result of a planner error or a deficiency in the eREPS software. [19109/09]

A reduction in payment was imposed initially in this case for an apparent planning error. The case has been reviewed, however, and it has been established that the apparent error arose as a result of cumulative rounding up of values within the eREPS system. The decision to reduce the payment has, therefore, been reversed.
