Question 329: To ask the Minister for Defence the outstanding health and safety matters at a site (details supplied) in County Cork; and the efforts being made to have the amenity re-opened. [18489/09]

A pitch and putt course located on the Department's lands in County Cork was closed by the Department in October 2005 for health and safety reasons and has been unused since then. There are no plans to reopen this course.
The lands in question are no longer used for military purposes and arrangements are currently being made to dispose of the entire property.
