Question 289: To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs the title of each Bill sponsored by him which was passed by the Houses of the Oireachtas and subsequently signed into law in respect of each of the years 2004 to 2008 and to date in 2009; if, in each case, it was drafted and passed in order to give effect to a directive from the European Union; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Details of all Bills brought forward by my Department since 2004 and subsequently enacted, are listed in tabular form below, with an indication of whether they were drafted and passed to give effect to an EU Directive. It should be noted that in 2009 to date, no legislation has been brought forward by my Department. As the Deputy will be aware, more detailed information on all pieces of legislation is available on the Oireachtas website www.oireachtas.ie .
