Question 46: To ask the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the number of tenant purchase scheme, shared ownership and affordable housing units that have been repossessed on behalf of a local authority for each of the past five years in each local authority area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The total numbers of repossessions carried out over the five year period 2004 to 2008 by each local authority that provides loans for house purchase, under section 11 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1992, is set out in the table below. Breakdowns on an annual basis or by type of housing unit are not readily available.
