The draft Management Plan and draft nomination documentation in relation to the proposed nomination of Clonmacnoise for inscription on the World Heritage List will be made available for public consultation shortly. I envisage a three month period for the provision of submissions. Consultation with all relevant stakeholders and interested parties is an integral part of the World Heritage nomination process and this consultation will be undertaken prior to any formal nomination of Clonmacnoise being made to UNESCO.
