The national monument site at Rathcrogran, Co. Roscommon, is managed by the Office of Public Works and local consultation and other management issues are matters for OPW. However, I understand that OPW has now completed the priority works required to secure the property. I also understand that OPW has invited statements of interest for sheep grazing which is the preferred option for grass management at the site. Access issues, including parking, will be addressed by OPW in consultation with Roscommon County Council.
