Under the scheme of performance-related awards for posts at the level of Deputy Secretary and Assistant Secretary, payments as set out in the table below were made to senior officials in my Department for each of the years 2005-2008.
Year Paid | Total |
2005 | â'¬22,700 (in respect of 2004) |
2006 | â'¬35,200 (in respect of 2005) |
2007 | â'¬38,400 (in respect of 2006) |
2008 | â'¬41,000 (in respect of 2007) |
I should point out that I have no role in the approval of such payments, which are approved by the Committee for Performance Awards in the Department of Finance, based on an assessment carried out by the Secretary General of my Department.
The date of the approval of payments relating to 2007 was 13 May 2008. No payments have been approved in respect of 2008.
