Question 232: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the position of the centralisation of the medical card system; the location at which the new headquarters will be; the position of the existing staff that operate the system within each Health Service Executive area; if they will be facilitated in the existing areas with alternative employment, if they will have to relocate to Dublin or if there will be redundancies as a result of this relocation; the cost that will occur to the HSE as a result of this change; the changes that will have to be made to the HSE computer system to facilitate the changes; if the changes will increase or decrease employment within the HSE; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
