Question 120: To ask the Minister for Health and Children the reason a child (details supplied) in County Dublin who has been assessed by the Health Service Executive orthodontic services as requiring treatment in a 5A category in December 2008 and was initially told the waiting list was 12 to 18 months has now been advised that the waiting list is three years; if regular check ups will be considered to assess whether earlier intervention may be necessary; her plans to address the lengthening waiting lists for these services; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
