Question 113: To ask the Minister for Finance if the Financial Regulator has launched an investigation into the facilitation by Irish Nationwide Building Society over a period of some eight years of the temporary warehousing of loans made by Anglo Irish Bank to members of Anglo's board of directors; the progress of such an investigation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The matters in question are under investigation by the Financial Regulator and the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement. These investigations will be followed up by both the regulatory authorities, which have extensive powers.
